Message From the Chairman: NPC’s Progress Report

As our membership continues to reflect phenomenal growth with new undergraduates year over year — including a more than 6 percent increase this past year — we are working to ensure the sorority experience remains relevant for today’s college women and alumnae.

As the numbers continue to reflect, every single sorority provides a life-skills learning lab built upon a solid foundation of values and integrity. The successes of our members are a reflection of the women we want to be … and have yet to become.

Remembering the Alfred Lord Tennyson quote, I am a part of all I have met, reminds me that our friendships through Greek life are lifelong and multigenerational. Be grateful that your daughters have this connection.

A Message From the Chairman: Take a Health Break

To help remind us all that we need to stop, take a breath, and also check up on our physical and emotional well-being, the National Panhellenic Conference is recognizing National Women’s Health Week, which kicks off on Mother’s Day.

What happens if my daughter transfers?

If your daughter is considering transferring to a different school and is concerned about her sorority membership, there are a couple things she needs to understand.

The 26 members of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) do not permit membership in more than one NPC group.   However, NPC groups often welcome members from local sororities as members.  It is possible to maintain friendships from your local sorority as you would other organizations you may have joined on campus along with your lifetime Read the Rest…
